Akeel Sayed

Head: Security Operations - CYBER1 Solutions

During his career in the ICT and Cyber Security fields, Sayed has obtained exceptional competency across a wide range of disciplines. His experience covers desktop, networks, cybersecurity, and IT leadership, at a local and international level. Prior to joining CYBER1 Solutions, he held several roles at Dimension Data, including senior networks and security engineer, where he was responsible for building, maintaining, and improving a hosted contact centre infrastructure. During his six years at CYBER1 Solutions, his role has grown from technical support to solutions and heading up managed security services. This steady growth has given him the full spectrum of skills and knowledge required to help the business achieve its goals, and to give clients total confidence that their environments are safe and secure. He studied Design & Implementation of Telecommunication Networks through UNISA, and always looking to expand his skills and knowledge base, achieved several certifications. These certifications were obtained from world renowned vendors including EC-Council; CISCO; Check Point; Palo Alto; Microsoft; Axelos.
